German tool clamps – the late type from 1943 (1:25) is an Aber photo-etched set for faithfully mounting the tools on models of German vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine photo-etched metal parts from the Polish maker Aber in 1:25 scale. It contains imitations of the tool clamps and clasps of the late type, as used on German vehicles from 1943 on. It is an accessory that replaces the coarse plastic clamps on the fenders and the hull with thin, period-correct metal parts.
The tools carried on the outside of German armored and wheeled vehicles were held in characteristic clamps. From 1943 on the form of the clamps was simplified; this set matches the later type and suits models from the second half of the Second World War.
Separate the parts on a hard surface, bend them along the etched score lines and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease and prime the metal before painting. Set the tools in their working position for a realistic impression.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
