An injection-molded plastic kit of a richly decorated Japanese trailer in 1:32 scale from the Japanese company Aoshima. It is a dekotora (decoration truck) in the build with a so-called wing trailer, whose side walls open upward like wings. The vehicle is adorned with chrome-plated stainless panels, lights and paintings in the spirit of Japanese trucking culture. The model is part of the Aoshima range of decorated trucks, and the package holds plastic parts, decals and chrome-plated components.
The dekotora is a Japanese phenomenon of long-haul trucks that their drivers decorate individually with brilliant polished sheet, colored lighting and airbrushed paintings. Wing-type trailers have side walls that swing up, which makes loading easier and at the same time gives a surface for striking decoration. Every truck is unique and carries its own name, here on the motif of cherry blossoms at night (yozakura).
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin liquid cement for plastic. Glue the chrome-plated parts carefully with a small amount of cyanoacrylate so that the glossy surface is not damaged. Spray the body and the side walls with an airbrush and coat them with gloss clear coat for the typical polished look. Apply the decals and lettering at the end and even out the gloss with a coat over them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
