A detailed pre-colored photo-etched instrument panel for models of the North American P-51D Mustang fighter in the early version (Mustang IV) in 1:32 scale. The panel is built up from several laminated photo-etched layers, so it is three-dimensional, and the dials are printed in color with a gloss imitation of glass. The set contains a small additional photo-etched part and a clear part with a printed dial face. The layout matches the early version of the P-51D, in which the instruments were arranged differently from later aircraft.
The North American P-51D Mustang was an American long-range fighter of the Second World War, valued for its great range and its performance at high altitude. It served as an escort fighter for bomber formations and for attacks on ground targets; the British designation was Mustang IV.
The panel is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The color printing and the gloss imitation of glass replace both painting and decals. The parts are small and have sharp edges, so work carefully.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. It contains small photo-etched parts and is not suitable for children.
