A resin model of an airfield tank with a capacity of two hundred and fifty gallons in 1:32 scale, in the US Air Force version. It is an accessory of ground support on the apron, not an aircraft model. The tank served to store and distribute service fluids on the flight line.
Movable airfield tanks belonged to the equipment of the flight line, where a supply of fuel, oil or other fluids had to be at hand. A tank with a capacity of two hundred and fifty gallons could be carried and placed wherever the crew needed it.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Paint chips, runs and a light patina will add realism.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
