This set from LZ Models is not a model but a photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale. It is meant to improve the cab of the British-Canadian CMP truck with cab types 11 and 12, specifically on the kits from Mirror Models. The set adds fine metal parts that turn coarser plastic into a true-to-life cab with detail that injection molding cannot capture.
The CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) were standardized trucks built in Canada during the Second World War for British and Allied units. The characteristic forward cab with its strongly sloped front was built in several types; cabs 11 and 12 are among the easily recognizable versions, and the vehicles served on practically every front.
Nip the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them over the edge of a ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing, check the fit against the plastic parts of the cab; a little adjustment is normal with photo-etched parts. Treat the metal with a primer suitable for metal before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
