A building concrete mixer in 1:35 scale from MAiM: the characteristic machine of every building site, which easily becomes the focus of a building site diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
A drum concrete mixer in 1:35 scale, a faithful counterpart to the machines that have been an inseparable part of building sites all over Europe for decades. Unlike small props, a concrete mixer is bold enough to carry the role of the central point of a scene, because figures, material and a story naturally gather around it.
Stand it by a wall under construction, beside a heap of sand and bags of cement, or leave it parked in a corner of a yard as a silent witness to a building left unfinished. Combined with worker figures a living picture appears; in a post-apocalyptic subject a rusted mixer tells of a building nobody will finish. It fills out with the other building site props from MAiM: signs, barriers, pallets and building material in 1:35.
After cleaning up and priming, choose the typical strong color of working machines and let it stand out in contrast with a dark chassis. A concrete mixer is the ideal object for aging techniques: chipping with a sponge on the edges, traces of rust around the bolts, dried splashes of concrete on the drum from a light textured paste and dust from pigments at the wheels. The shabbier it is, the more believable it looks.
A diorama prop, not a working model in its own right. It is supplied unpainted, meant to be cleaned up and painted; paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
