Aber 1:35 fenders for the Cromwell, Centaur, Charioteer and Comet is a photo-etched metal detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber for models of military equipment in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An Aber photo-etched metal detail set in 1:35 scale. It holds finely made fenders usable on the British Cromwell, Centaur, Charioteer and Comet tanks. They replace the thicker plastic fenders from the box and make it possible to render bent or damaged sheet on vehicles in service.
The Cromwell, Centaur, Charioteer and Comet were British tanks and derived types of the Second World War and the early postwar period, which shared a number of design features. The fenders were among the parts that often bent or tore in the field.
The photo-etched metal parts are thin and small, so separate them with a sharp knife on a cutting surface and bend them over a metal ruler or a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as cement for plastic does not hold on metal. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a coat of primer so that the finish holds; at the end a fine wash and pigments help to pick out the detail.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
