Parts designed to keep their freedom of movement after gluing make one main demand on a modeler: watch where the glue goes. Cyanoacrylate glue has a low viscosity and creeps further by capillary action than you expect, so it is applied in a minimal amount and only to the point of attachment, never into the joint itself. The gel version is safer, or applying it with a pin. The same rule applies to paint. Every further coat reduces the clearance, and what still moves after one coat of primer may not move once the base color and varnish are on. Before the final spray, therefore, test the clearance and allow for it.
Cut the castings off the carrier with a sharp scalpel close to the part, and rather sand the remainder off carefully than nip it with pliers. Wash them in lukewarm water with detergent before gluing. Paint with an airbrush and heavily thinned paint, because these are thin elements that a heavy coat thickens; keep a brush for touching in. A package of 56 pieces is enough to fit a larger number of positions and to leave a margin that you really will use with parts of this section.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
