The Su-27UB is the two-seat combat trainer version of the heavy Su-27 fighter, in which both seats are one behind the other and the cockpit is therefore longer and taller than on the single-seat form. The cockpit sits high above the ground, so the crew can reach it only up a wheeled ladder, and on an airfield that belongs to the aircraft as much a matter of course as chocks under the wheels. It is precisely these small things that make the difference on a model between a machine parked on the apron and a model that is merely standing on a base.

The ladders are slender, so handle them carefully and try them dry first, while nothing is holding them in place. Cut the excess material and the marks left by production off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts: ordinary cement for plastic models holds only on polystyrene, and on other materials use cyanoacrylate glue. Wash and degrease them before painting. Place the chocks so that they bear on the ground over their whole face and touch the tire.
The kit of the aircraft, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
