This is a photo-etched metal detail set, not a model of the vehicle. The set from Aber contains fine photo-etched parts that refine a plastic kit of the heavy armored car Sd.Kfz. 234/4 with the 7.5 cm PaK anti-tank gun. The photo-etch brings a more faithful thickness of the sheet metal, fenders, grilles and small clamps.
The Sd.Kfz. 234/4 was an eight-wheeled heavy armored reconnaissance car. In the 234/4 version it carried a 7.5 cm PaK anti-tank gun in an open superstructure, which gave it considerable firepower against armor. The vehicles of the 234 series were valued for their speed and range on a wheeled chassis.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife, bend them on a bending tool or along a ruler and glue them with super glue. Degrease the metal before painting and coat it with a primer. Work with tweezers and in good lighting.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
