Responsibility details are not available.
A printed sheet for builders of dioramas in 1:35 scale with motifs of magazine covers from the period of the years 1994 to 2003. It is a paper accessory for a scene, not a kit and not a waterslide decal. From the sheet the modeler makes small props – folded magazines for a table, a shelf, a bunk, a figure's hands or dropped on the floor.
The key is the fold over an edge. Cut the motif out together with the matching back page, score the paper on the line of the future spine with the blunt side of a knife or an empty ballpoint pen and only then fold it – the spine comes out sharp and the magazine does not open up. If the publication is to lie open, leave the fold looser instead and pack the inside out with a strip of paper, to create thickness. Several sheets glued together with PVA glue give a stack on a table a realistic height.
In an interior the props are glued in spots with PVA or matte glue; super glue soaks through paper and leaves glossy stains. Tone the white cut edges with a thin brush. Aging does a lot with paper: slightly yellowed edges, a bent corner, a very thinned wash into the fold. Spray with matte clear coat at the end, otherwise the sheen of the printing will give a magazine away in a scene. Props of this type work well together with figures – they give a display a reason why a character is sitting or leaning over.
A printed paper accessory for a diorama, supplied as a sheet for further work. Glue, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
