An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish wheeled armored personnel carrier KTO Rosomak in the version with the open OSS-M weapon station, in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker IBG Models. The model has a detailed hull on an eight-wheeled chassis, a well-worked weapon station and photo-etched parts. The kit is intended to be assembled and painted.
The KTO Rosomak is a Polish wheeled armored personnel carrier with 8x8 drive, derived from the Finnish Patria AMV; its production began after 2003. The version with the OSS-M station has basic armor and a low open weapon station fitted with either a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher or a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun. Vehicles with this station also served on the overseas mission in Chad in 2008 and 2009.
Assemble the chassis and the wheels first, then the hull and the weapon station. Glue the plastic with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; finish the dust and mud effects on the wheels and the underside with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
