1:35 Military Wall Maps Irak/Afghanistan No. 1 - Decals

MAiM 1:35 Military wall maps Iraq/Afghanistan No. 1 (a decal set)

A set of water-slide decals from MAiM in 1:35 scale with military wall maps of the Iraq and Afghanistan region, variant no. 1. It is not a model and not a kit but a decorative accessory for dioramas. The decals represent maps on the walls of command posts, staffs and bases in model scenes from present-day conflicts.

What the accessory is for

Water-slide decals transfer the wall map onto the prepared surface of a wall or a panel in a diorama. The pattern is designed for 1:35 scale and fills out the atmosphere of a command post, a briefing room or a field base.

Usage tips

• First level the surface of the wall or the panel and coat it with a gloss varnish for a clean application of the decal.
• Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water and slide it into place, then settle it with a decal softener.
• Press the excess water out with a soft brush and let it dry thoroughly.
• Once it is dry, overcoat it with a matte varnish and add a light patina as needed.

Who the accessory is for

• For builders of dioramas from present-day conflicts in 1:35 scale.
• For modelers who want to finish off the interior of a command post or a staff.

This is a set of decals, not a model. Paints, varnishes and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
