CM-11 Brave Tiger 1:35 is a plastic kit of the main battle tank of the Republic of China Army from the manufacturer AFV Club. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.

An injection-molded plastic kit of the CM-11 main battle tank used by the ground forces of Taiwan. AFV Club is a manufacturer that has long concentrated on armor in 1:35 scale, and its kits are among the more finely broken down ones, typically with elaborate running gear, separate parts for the external fittings and fine surface relief. Because of the higher number of tiny parts, the model is intended for modelers with some practice rather than for absolute beginners.
The CM-11 is a hybrid design that joins a hull derived from the M60A3 tank with a modified turret based on the M48 type and fitted with more modern fire control electronics. The main armament is a 105 mm gun, supplemented by machine guns. The machine came about as a way of modernizing the armament without procuring an entirely new design, and it is characterized by exactly this combination of elements of two older types, which is clearly apparent on the model: a lower, rounded turret on a longer hull with the running gear arranged as on the M60.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull first, while everything is accessible; leave the wheels unglued on their slotted hubs, as they are then easier to paint. Assemble the tracks according to the type supplied in the package: with individual track links it pays to put them together in longer runs on a flat surface and to let them hang in their operational sag before the glue cures. Glue the small parts on the turret and the hull on only after the base coat, so that they do not snap off. Use an airbrush for painting and start with a darker base, over which you gradually lay lightened shades into the centers of the surfaces. Build the weathering up in layers: first a wash into the recesses and around the rivets, then pigments on the running gear and the lower part of the hull, and finally drybrushing on the edges. Leave the gun and the machine guns more matte than the rest of the hull.
