This is a photo-etched metal detail set, not a tank model. The add-on set (vol.5) from Aber holds fine photo-etched tool boxes meant for the late version fenders of the Soviet KV-I and KV-II heavy tanks. The metal version has thin walls and true hinges and lids, and completes the late type fender set.
The KV-I and KV-II were Soviet heavy tanks from the start of the Second World War. Boxes for tools and equipment mounted on the fenders were among the typical external features, and their arrangement differed from one production batch to another. This set matches the boxes for the late pattern of fenders.
Fold the box parts along the scored lines, bend them and glue them into their three-dimensional shape with cyanoacrylate glue, then seat them on the late fenders. Work with tweezers. Degrease the metal and give it a coat of primer before painting.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
