A photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It holds the doors of the side stowage bins and further additional photo-etched parts for the Sd.Kfz. 234 heavy armored reconnaissance car. It replaces the coarser plastic parts with true thin metal sheet complete with hinges and brackets. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory that sharpens the build.
The Sd.Kfz. 234 was a German eight-wheeled heavy armored car of the Second World War, used for reconnaissance and for fire support in several versions. Along the sides of the hull it carried stowage bins with doors, which the photo-etched set lets you show open and faithfully detailed.
Separate the photo-etched doors with a knife and bend them along the grooves. The hinges make it possible to show the bins open, so equipment and a load can be added for a diorama. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, degrease the metal and apply a primer. It suits accentuating wear and shading.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a vehicle model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
