A diorama vignette in 1:35 scale from the MAiM marque with the motif of a stylized cliff. It is not a model of a vehicle or a figure but a scenic base on which you display a model built separately. The set is supplied unpainted and it is intended to be finished by the modeler — cleaned up, seated, painted and weathered.
A cliff is a rewarding item in a composition: it divides the scene into two levels of height, gives a figure a clear foreground and at the same time serves as a background that separates the model optically from the rest of the shelf. The motif has an imaginative flavor, so it suits fantasy figures just as well as a realistic scene in mountain terrain. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread format of figures and military equipment, so the choice of an accompanying model is wide.
Wash the set in lukewarm water with detergent and let it dry perfectly. After the primer, paint the rock from a dark base and draw the structure out with a dry brush — two or three lighter coats are enough, a fourth already flattens the stone. Draw a dark wash into the recesses, apply pigments on the faces and sweep the excess away with a soft brush. Dose the vegetation sparingly and only where dampness would hold. Glue the figure on only once the base is finished, so that you do not dirty the completed surface.
The vignette is supplied unpainted. The model, the figure, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
