A photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank kit but a set of fine metal upper mesh screens for the late German Panzer IV Ausf.J medium tank. The mesh formed the protection of the upper surfaces against shaped charge ammunition and cannot be rendered faithfully in plastic.
The photo-etched upper mesh panels complement the side Schürzen and give the model the characteristic late-war look. It is intended for plastic models of the Panzer IV Ausf.J in 1:35 scale.
Handle the mesh carefully: separate it with a scalpel and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. The panels can be bent slightly for realism. Degrease the metal before painting and spray it with a primer.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The tank kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
