A resin diorama prop, US Army Barrack Vietnam, in 1:35 scale from MAiM. A limited edition to glue and paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin diorama prop in 1:35 scale made by MAiM, released as a limited edition. It is NOT a vehicle model or a figure but a building of the military barrack type for a diorama on the subject of the American presence in Vietnam. It serves as a backdrop for military scenes and figures. The exact package contents are not stated here.
The real subject is a simple field accommodation building of the kind the American army commonly put up at rear bases during the Vietnam War. The prop sets figures and equipment in a faithful period setting and makes a complete scene. The subject is treated factually, as a historical modeling backdrop.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, ideally with an airbrush. You can bring the wooden and sheet-metal surfaces to life with color transitions, washes in the joints and a dry brush; for a period look, dust and mud pigments on the lower parts of the building work well.
The prop is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
