An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light armored vehicle Wiesel in the anti-tank version with the TOW launcher, in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer AFV Club. The kit makes it possible to build the 1A1 as well as the 1A2 form and contains soft plastic track parts that can be glued with ordinary cement for plastic, photo-etched parts and decals. The Wiesel is a German very light, air-transportable tracked armored vehicle developed for airborne and light infantry units. The version with the TOW anti-tank missile system serves to destroy armored targets. Its small dimensions and low weight allow it to be carried by helicopters and deployed quickly; the secondary armament consists of a machine gun.
Given the small dimensions of the vehicle it is advisable to clean the parting lines of the parts carefully. Use cement for plastic on the joints, including the tracks, treat the surface with a primer and lay the camouflage scheme on with an airbrush. Bring out the details with washes and a dry brush, and complete the patina with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
