The German submarine U-673 (type VIIC) 1:400 is an injection-molded plastic kit from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit in 1:400 scale captures the German submarine U-673 of type VIIC in the form with a modified anti-aircraft conning tower. It is an injection-molded plastic model from the Polish brand Mirage Hobby; the package holds plastic parts and a decal sheet. The model is a rewarding piece for a display case.
Type VIIC was the most widespread class of German submarines of the Second World War. U-673 entered service in 1943 and was converted into what was known as an anti-aircraft boat, with strengthened armament on the tower. It made several combat patrols; its fate was sealed after a collision with another submarine off the Norwegian coast in 1944.
Glue the hull together and fill and sand the seam all the way round. Assemble the busy tower with its anti-aircraft armament carefully and clean the small parts up with a light touch. In a small scale choose thin coats of paint from an airbrush and a fine accenting of the details with a wash. Apply the decals onto a varnished surface and put the model on a stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
