The 1:72 Boeing 737-100 open JT8D engine is a printed resin nacelle for advanced builders, rendered with the cowlings swung open.
Responsibility details are not available.
This printed resin accessory replaces the engine nacelle of the kit with a part that has the cowlings swung open. The inner sections of the powerplant thus stay in view and the model takes on the look of an aircraft ready for inspection. The package does not include the aircraft or any of its parts; it is purely a replacement powerplant in 1:72 scale.
The 737-100 series was the very first version of the whole family, and you will recognize it from the later ones by its shortest fuselage. Only a few dozen were built, so this type remains a rarity in modelers' display cases and few kits of it in 1:72 have appeared. Propulsion was provided by turbofan engines carried close to the lower surface of the wing, which gave the first 737s their characteristic low stance.
Remove the print supports with nippers and level the remnants with a fine-grit sanding sponge. Think the colors of the inner surfaces of the cowlings through in advance, because once they are glued you will no longer get to them. Reach for metallic paint on the metal sections only at the very end, as it is harder to mask and to overspray. Glue the structure with super glue, ideally after a dry fit.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The base of the aircraft, paints and glue are to be obtained separately.
