Responsibility details are not available.
This resin detail set from AML replaces the plastic exhausts on a model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter with accurate castings of the early version with six separate exhaust stubs. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for Hurricane Mk.I models in 1:48 scale.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British fighter powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, which played a key role in the Battle of Britain. Early machines had the exhaust stubs arranged in sixes on each side of the engine; rendering them faithfully helps to capture the early form of the aircraft correctly.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut off the small casting blocks and sand the surfaces gently. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Given the small size of the exhausts, work with tweezers and protect your eyes and your airways. Spray the exhausts in burnt steel shades and use pigments for a scaled effect.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The glue, the paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
