This detail set brings a complete faithful cockpit in 1:48 scale as a replacement for the simplified out-of-box interior. It is a resin, 3D printed aftermarket set from the manufacturer Reskit for experienced modelers. The 3D printing makes it possible to render the cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the side consoles and the ejection seat sharply, with details that stand out markedly under an open canopy.
The MiG-25BM is a specialized version of the heavy, fast MiG-25 intended for the suppression of enemy air defenses and for attacking radar stations with anti-radiation missiles. It comes from the proven design with two powerful engines and the ability to reach high speeds; the cockpit corresponds to the late generation of Soviet analog instrument panels.
Wash the parts free of release agent residues, cut off the print supports and the casting blocks and clean them up gently. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; when sanding, protect your airways with a respirator. Lay the interior with an airbrush in the base shade and bring out the instruments and the panels with lightening, with a dry brush and with spot colors; check the fit of the tub before you close the fuselage.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
