Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a Soviet pilot of the Second World War in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus (the Aires line). It is not an aircraft model but a supplementary figure intended to be painted and set beside a model or into an airfield scene. The man in period flight gear suits Soviet fighters and ground-attack aircraft of the Eastern Front.
During the Second World War Soviet airmen wore leather or cloth overalls, a helmet with goggles and gear according to the season. The figure will give a model or a diorama a human dimension and a sense of scale, and it complements machines of Soviet design deployed in the years 1941 to 1945 well.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the joints with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the figure before the final assembly; primer, matte shades for the overalls, leather accessories and bringing out the face with a dry brush and glazing all prove their worth.
The figure is supplied unpainted and cast in resin, intended to be glued together and painted. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
