The Su-33 is a single-seat carrier-borne variant from the Su-27 line, adapted for operation from an aircraft carrier by folding surfaces and an arrestor hook. It is precisely with a carrier aircraft that a boarding ladder has a special logic: the machine is handled on deck in a tight space and every piece of equipment around it tells of how it is worked on. On a diorama the ladder supplies the missing human dimension of a scene.
Cements for plastic do not dissolve resin, and a joint holds purely mechanically. Reach, therefore, for cyanoacrylate glue. The thin variant runs into a joint by itself and suits well-fitted joints, while a thicker gel will fill a small gap and give a moment to adjust the position. In both cases roughen the mating surface with sandpaper beforehand and apply a minimum of glue; the excess runs out and floods the surrounding detail, which you will not then save.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for it. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
