This set from Aires in 1:48 scale replaces the stock wheel bay of a plastic Bristol Beaufighter model with a more faithfully rendered resin part. It adds depth and structure to the compartment into which the main landing gear retracts. It is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model.
The Bristol Beaufighter is a British twin-engine multirole aircraft of the Second World War, flown as a heavy fighter, a night fighter and a strike and torpedo machine. It was marked by heavy gun and rocket armament and a rugged structure. The roomy engine nacelles and wheel bays are a striking detail of this type.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is advisable to install and paint the wheel bay before closing the lower part of the nacelle or the wing.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
