The Mk.46 is an American lightweight anti-submarine torpedo that has been in service since the end of the 1970s and is dropped by surface ships as well as by navy helicopters and aircraft. The loading cart serves for handling the torpedo and mounting it under a carrier, which makes it a rewarding feature for a scene on the deck of a ship or on an airfield.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); bend the photo-etched parts precisely and glue them with cyanoacrylate as well. Protect your airways when sanding. The cart is usually painted in naval yellow or gray, while the torpedo gets clear factory and warning markings and light weathering.
The set contains the parts of the cart and the torpedo and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the carrier are not included in the package.
