A wooden deck in 1:700 scale for a model of the Japanese battleship Mutsu in the full hull version, cut for the Fujimi 401034 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mutsu was a battleship of the Imperial Japanese Navy and the second unit of the Nagato class. She was among the heaviest Japanese surface ships of the interwar period, and on the model you will recognize her by the expansive forward deck and the massive superstructure. The designation for a full hull means that the model is not in the waterline version but shows the underwater part of the ship as well.
The set is a wooden deck part in 1:700 scale prepared for the kit from the manufacturer Fujimi with the catalog number 401034 in the full hull version. The outlines match this kit; for the waterline variant or for a model of another brand they need not suit. The material is wood, so the surface has a tone and a structure of its own.
Lay the part on dry first and go over the edges around the turrets and the superstructure, and only then fix it. Rid the plastic deck of dust and grease beforehand. Choose the glue and the procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions and use only as much as is necessary, so that it does not creep onto the face. Cut an edge that overhangs away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down carefully.
It is for a modeler of Japanese battleships in 1:700 scale who cares about the surface of the deck. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
