Paper masks for the landing gear bays of a CAC Boomerang model in 1:72 scale, according to the product name for Special Hobby kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Boomerang was an Australian single-engine fighter of the Second World War; the designations CA-12, CA-13 and CA-19 distinguish its production versions. The masks are intended for models in 1:72 scale and, according to the product name, aim at Special Hobby kits.
Paper masks for the landing gear bays. They are fitted into the open bays and close them for the time the model is being sprayed, so that neither paint nor drifting mist from the surrounding coat can get inside. The paper can be pressed against the outline of the bay, and once the coat is finished it is taken out of the model again.
The mask belongs in the model before spraying, that is before the primer and the top color come into play. Finish and paint the bays first, therefore, and only then close them up. Check that the mask beds against the edge all the way round: a narrow gap will let paint inside, and an oversprayed bay is hard to put right. Once the last coat has dried, lift the mask out with tweezers so that the edge of the bay does not suffer. The paper will also take careful reshaping if the bay in a particular kit lines up differently.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
