Quinta Studio 1:72 F-15 Eagle (early) 3D interior decal gives the cockpit three-dimensional, pre-colored details applied the wet way, like a decal. Target kit: GWH.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio in 1:72 scale on backing decal paper. The details are printed on a flexible carrier with real relief, so the instrument panel with its analog instruments, the side consoles and the controls look three-dimensional even in a small scale. The colors and the labels are pre-printed, so the interior does not have to be painted. The decals are shaped to the parts of the GWH kit.
The F-15 Eagle is an American heavy fighter built for air superiority, renowned for its performance, its pair of engines and its long range. The early F-15A and F-15C versions, as well as the Japanese F-15J, used a cockpit with mostly analog combined instruments. The set is aimed at precisely this older cabin layout.
The part is cut from the sheet, dipped in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the backing paper into place. The parts have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss varnish such as Future or Klear, or Tamiya X-22; on broken-up surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. In 1:72 scale it pays to work with a fine tool and in good light.
The set contains the interior 3D decals only. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
