A plastic kit of the British light aircraft de Havilland D.H.60X Amphibian in 1:72 scale from Avis.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the British two-seat light aircraft de Havilland D.H.60 Moth in the D.H.60X version in its amphibious guise on floats, in 1:72 scale from Avis. It is a short-run tooling with fine moldings, a decal sheet and parts for the float version. The build is better suited to more experienced modelers.
The de Havilland D.H.60 Moth family was among the most widespread British sporting and training biplanes of the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. The D.H.60X version differed from the later Gipsy Moth above all in its power plant. In the amphibious guise on floats with wheels the machine could take off from the water as well as from land.
Clean the fine parts of the short-run tooling carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Assemble the struts and bracing wires of the biplane as well as the float struts carefully according to the drawing. An airbrush and masking tape suit the fabric covering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
