Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models. It brings the markings of the Yakovlev Yak-52 machine connected with the name of the pilot Vári Gyula and, in addition, a set of Hungarian aviation national insignia that can be used on other models too. The package holds decals only.
The Yak-52 is a two-seat single-engine trainer with a radial engine, retractable nosewheel landing gear and seats in tandem. It came about as a machine for basic and advanced training and for air sport. Thanks to a durable structure and good handling it spread widely into civil use, where it is still flown for aerobatics and training today. It is precisely the civil and sporting machines that tend to be far more colorful than the military ones.
Sporting schemes tend to have large areas of color that cannot be sprayed, so a decal is often the only way. The base has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise the edge of the film will be visible. Soak the design in lukewarm water, let it rest and move it onto the model while it is still free to slide. Lay large areas down from the center out to the edges and press the water out with a soft cloth, so that no bubble is left under the film. Use the softener only once it is settled. Keep the bonus national insignia, as they will come in useful on other Hungarian machines.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
