GasPatch MG 15 Aircraft 1:72 is a set of two resin MG 15 aircraft machine guns for models of German aircraft. Fine aftermarket parts replace the simplified injection-molded weapons.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detailed resin set contains two MG 15 aircraft machine guns in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory intended to replace the coarsely molded weapons of a base kit on models of German aircraft. The parts are cast in resin with crisp rendering that injection-molded plastic cannot capture.
The MG 15 was a German hand-operated aircraft machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber, used as defensive armament on many Luftwaffe machines during the Second World War. It appeared in the flexible positions of bombers as well as of observation and liaison aircraft. It is characterized by its double drum magazine and a light perforated barrel jacket.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) for bonding. The metal parts stand out nicely in a dark metallic shade with fine highlighting of the edges and a light wash in the recesses.
This is an add-on set, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without glue or paints.
