A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for models of the T-34/85 tank with a subject from the fighting for Berlin. An accessory for a kit, not the kit itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-34/85 is the late form of the Soviet T-34 medium tank. It is told apart from the older versions by its larger cast turret with room for three men and by a heavier 85 mm gun; thanks to that the commander stopped working the weapon and could at last concentrate on leading the fight. In this form the T-34 reached the closing battles in Germany and became one of the most frequently built armor models of all.
A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with a subject from the fighting for Berlin in the spring of 1945. The street fighting gave the vehicles a look of their own: hastily painted numbers, recognition stripes and slogans applied in the field, often carelessly and without a stencil. Markings like these are what turn a model into one particular machine instead of a generic tank. Which machines the sheet covers and to what extent is given in the instructions supplied, which are worth a look before painting.
Prepare a surface that is smooth, glossy and free of grease; on a matte coat air stays under the film and once dry the edge shows up as a pale rim. Cut the decal out close to the edge of the subject, soak it briefly in lukewarm water and let it stand until it can be slid on the backing paper. Lay it on the dampened area, slide it off the paper and blot the excess water off with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges. Go over the dried decals with matte varnish so that the glossy base disappears.
The kit, the paints and the varnish are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
