The package contains ten finished wall lamps in a classic shape, made of solid black plastic and fitted with a light-emitting diode. The lamps are already wired, they have leads and a series resistor, so they do not have to be assembled or soldered beforehand. The overall height of a lamp is roughly three centimeters, which corresponds to the figure scales usual for a diorama as well as for tabletop games.
The lamps are powered by direct current of roughly three to eighteen volts, and around nine to twelve volts they light at full brightness. The leads are passed through a hole in the wall of the building or in the base and hidden under the scene. The ends are stripped and connected to a power source; brass wires and tubes can also be used to carry the current, and they hold the lamp in place at the same time.
For builders of dioramas, city and gaming scenes who want real light in the result, not just a painted light fitting. Even a modeler with no experience of electronics can manage the wiring.
Connect the lamps only to a safe low-voltage source, that is to a battery or a power adapter. Never connect them straight to a wall socket and do not exceed the recommended voltage, or the diode will be destroyed.
