Top Studio 1:12 Shift Linkage for YZR500

This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set holds fine metal parts of the shift rod and linkage for a model of the Yamaha YZR500 racing motorcycle in 1:12 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic part with a convincing metal substitute and raises the technical fidelity of the model.

Use

  • Remove the parts from the gates and clean up the mating surfaces.
  • Glue the metal parts with super glue and take care to position them correctly in relation to the footpeg and the shift lever.
  • The surface can be painted for a metallic look.

For advanced modelers who are building the classic two-stroke Yamaha YZR500 and want convincing technical detail.

The accessory is supplied on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
