Responsibility details are not available.
A publication from the Kagero publishing house in the field of literature on ships and submarines. It deals with the destroyers of Project 61, which Western surveys carry as the Kashin class. The extent of the volume, the language and the way it is put together are given by the publisher in the imprint and on the cover of the book.
Project 61 came about in the Soviet Union at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s and became famous for its propulsion: these were among the first warships in the world powered solely by gas turbines. That is also where the striking silhouette with two pairs of angled funnels comes from, by which the ships can be told at a glance. The design was further modified step by step, so the individual ships differ from each other in detail. For building a model that matters: the equipment and the placement of the armament show which ship the model represents and from which period.
What is supplied is the publication. A kit, decals and accessories for the build are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
