Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the legendary vertical take-off Harrier aircraft from the manufacturer Mark I in 1:144 scale. The issue with the subtitle First Generation covers the early forms of the machine, the GR.1A version of the Royal Air Force and the AV-8A and AV-8C versions of the US Marine Corps. The small scale makes it possible to build a whole collection of Harrier versions in a minimum of space.
The Harrier was the first operationally deployed combat aircraft with vertical take-off and landing. It was made possible by the Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine with four swiveling nozzles, thanks to which the machine operated from forest clearings, roads and small decks. The Royal Air Force brought the Harrier GR.1 into service in 1969, and the US Marine Corps took similar machines over under the designation AV-8A and later modernized some of them to the AV-8C standard.
In 1:144 scale cleanliness of work decides everything: separate the parts with sharp cutters, sand the joints with fine files and fit the small parts with tweezers. It is best painted with an airbrush in thinner coats; masking putty or narrow tapes will make the camouflage easier. A fine dark wash will bring the engraved lines out, and at the end even the model up with a semi-matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
