A fine photo-etched set in 1:144 scale from the Czech maker Brengun. It contains parts for refining models of the American Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter in the HH-60, MH-60 and UH-60 versions. It is not a whole model but an accessory that adds details unobtainable in plastic.
The Black Hawk is a multipurpose transport helicopter of the US Army, in service since the late 1970s. The UH-60 version serves for transport, the MH-60 for special forces operations and the HH-60 for search and rescue. Photo-etched items such as small grilles, steps and braces raise the fidelity even at a small scale.
Cut the parts carefully out of the fret, make the fine bends over a ruler and bond them with a small amount of super glue. Work with tweezers and a magnifier. Apply a thin primer before painting so that the paint holds on the metal.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
