A package of two injection-molded plastic kits of the British two-seat fighter biplane Bristol F.2B Fighter from the First World War in the small 1:144 scale from the maker Valom. The designation 2in1 (dual combo) means that in the box you will find two complete models, plus clear parts and a decal sheet with several marking options. The compact models suit the display case and also serve as the basis of a squadron in the same scale.
The Bristol F.2B, nicknamed the Brisfit, was a British two-seat multipurpose fighter biplane. It combined fixed forward armament operated by the pilot with a flexible machine gun of the rear gunner. Once the right combat tactics had been mastered it became one of the most successful and toughest machines of its category and it stayed in service long after the war.
In 1:144 scale the parts are tiny, so work with tweezers and a sharp knife and clean up carefully. On a biplane add the bracing wires between the wings from stretched sprue or modeling thread after painting: it is precisely they that give the model realism. Set the decals over a gloss varnish and finish the whole with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
