Resin CFM56-7B engines for the Boeing 737 (1:144) replace the kit nacelles of the modern narrow-body airliner with more faithful resin castings. The package contains two engines.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of an aircraft but a resin detail set from the maker LACI in 1:144 scale. The accurate castings capture the CFM56-7B turbofan engines in nacelles with their characteristic flattened underside, of the kind carried by Boeing 737 next-generation aircraft (the 600, 700 and 800 versions). The package contains two engines and markedly raises the fidelity of the front and rear part of the nacelle compared with the kit parts.
The CFM56-7B is the most widespread powerplant of the most successful narrow-body airliner of its era. The identifying mark of the nacelle is the flattened lower intake, which came about because of the low ground clearance of the landing gear under the wing.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding. Apply a primer before painting and lay the metal shades of the engine onto a smooth base.
A model of the aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package. It is supplied as a resin set for more experienced modelers.
