This is a resin detail accessory, not a standalone kit. The package replaces the parts of the wing trailing edge and lets a model of the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 or MD-11 in 1:144 scale be built with the landing flaps fully extended.
The DC-10 and its later successor the MD-11 are American wide-body airliners with three engines, one of them built into the base of the vertical tail. Extended flaps change the geometry of the wing considerably and add to the fidelity of a model that shows the aircraft in the landing phase.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut the casting blocks away. The flap segments are intricate, so work patiently and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Do the sanding with respiratory protection. The inner surfaces of the flaps are picked out with fine shading.
