The small scale makes the model a compact display piece that does not take up half a cabinet, while still holding the characteristic shape of the subject with its angular hull, large engine nacelles and massive landing gear. It is the smaller of the scales this ship is produced in, so you can choose according to the room you have and how much detail you want.
The Razor Crest is the ship of the main character of the Star Wars television universe, which viewers know as a bounty hunter's working machine: older, well used and marked by service. Its appearance is deliberately utilitarian, without smooth lines or shine, which makes it a rewarding object for modelers who enjoy working with traces of use and a battered surface.
Build and paint the model in its main subassemblies, so that you reach even the nooks between the engines and the hull. Lay the primer on in a thin coat, then the base gray-green tone and only over that the differing shades of the individual panels – the irregularity of the surface is the main effect on this ship. A dark wash in the engraved lines, gentle drybrushing of the edges and discreet traces of abrasion will achieve what makes no sense on glossy ships. Use gloss varnish before the decals and matte at the end.
