Wheels with tires for a model of the Alpine A110 in the early version, in the fifteen-inch size and in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Alpine A110 is a French sports car of the 1960s and 1970s, small and light, with the engine at the rear and a fiberglass body. Rallying made it famous, where its low weight and agility stood out on narrow roads. The word Early in the name points to the early version of the car, that is to the older form, which differs from later versions in detail.
Wheels in 1:24 scale and tires to go with them. The inch figure refers to the real car: fifteen inches is 381 mm, which in 1:24 scale works out to a rim diameter of just under sixteen millimeters. The set replaces the kit wheels; on its own it is not a model of the car.
Assemble the wheel dry and try it in the wheel arch; only then glue it. Parts that are not polystyrene are joined with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not work on them. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder down so that the mating surface stays flat. Wash and degrease the parts and apply a primer before painting. Spray the rim separately from the tire; on a competition build a light touch of dust on the side of the tire with a clean rim helps, because it is exactly that contrast that reads as convincing.
For builders of historic sports and competition cars in 1:24 scale who want a wheel of sharper shape on an A110 model than the kit offers. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
