Honda FD2 wheels in 1:24 scale are a supplementary set from Hobby Design. The shape of the rim grows out of the Japanese sports sedan Honda Civic Type R of the FD2 generation.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the maker Hobby Design belongs among the accessories for car models in 1:24 scale. It serves to swap the wheels; neither the body nor the mechanicals of a model are part of it.
The code FD2 designates the four-door Honda Civic Type R, which the Japanese carmaker offered from 2007 exclusively on its home market. Under the hood worked a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated K20A-series engine with high revs and variable valve timing, and the body was given a stiffer chassis and bucket seats. It is exactly this generation that tends to be sought after among modelers, because it differed clearly from the export Civics and only some makers offer it in scale.
Factory wheels tend to come in shades from light silver to dark graphite, and a flatter surface comes across more naturally on a model than a pronounced gloss. If you want to suggest use, a very fine dark dusting around the center is enough to imitate brake dust. Degrease the parts before spraying and let the paint cure properly, otherwise the surface on the edges of the spokes is easily worn through. If you are building a factory piece, leave the rims rather clean; overdone accentuation would draw attention away from the body.
