The Aventador 50 Anniversario is a special standard of the Aventador that Lamborghini prepared for the fiftieth anniversary of its founding. It differs from the ordinary car mainly in its aerodynamic features: enlarged air intakes at the front, a prominent front splitter, small downforce surfaces along the sides and a larger diffuser with a meshed rear end. A V12 engine sits in the middle of the car, the power goes to all four wheels and the doors open upward. The anniversary series was limited to two hundred cars, one hundred coupes and one hundred roadsters.
A kit of the model in 1:24 scale. The parts are unassembled and unpainted, and to build it you need cement for plastic kits, paints and basic modeling tools. The number of parts, the extent of the decals and the recommended shades are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The finished model stands or falls by its body, so it pays to spend time on preparing the surface. Cut the excess material and the traces of manufacture away with a sharp blade a little away from the part, sand the remainder down and wash and degrease the surface before painting. Apply gloss paint in several thin coats, as one heavy coat will round off the sharp edges of the body. Paint the interior and the underside of the car before you close the body up, because later you cannot reach them. Glue the clear parts with a cement meant for glazing so that they do not cloud over.
Paints, glue and modeling tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
