An injection-molded plastic kit of the Scania S730 Highline 4x2 tractor unit in 1:24 scale from Italeri. The box contains a richly broken-down cab with an interior, a V8 engine, a complete chassis with springing and drivetrain, chrome parts, photo-etched items, rubber tires and a decal sheet. The cab is made to tilt, and some elements such as the doors and the radiator grille can be opened.
The Scania S730 is the Swedish marque's flagship tractor unit with a powerful V8 engine. The S series with the flat-floor Highline cab is among the most prestigious long-distance tractors and is popular with drivers and with collectors of truck models alike.
Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, spray the larger painted surfaces of the cab with an airbrush over a primer and cover them with a gloss coat for a deep shine. Glue the chrome and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Recommended for more advanced modelers because of the number of parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
