A resin accessory from the Aires/Quickboost brand for a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX fighter in the armament configuration with the E-type wing, in 1:32 scale. The set contains finely cast barrels for the onboard guns, which replace the thicker plastic parts and raise the fidelity of the wing leading edge.
For more advanced modelers building the Spitfire Mk.IX in 1:32 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory and the kit itself is not included in the package. The resin parts are separated from the casting blocks and bonded with super glue.
The thin barrels are fragile, so work carefully when separating and gluing them.
