The fourth-generation Toyota Supra was introduced in the first half of the 1990s, and what made its name was the combination of a robust inline six-cylinder engine and a classic layout with rear-wheel drive. The turbocharged version was among the most powerful production Japanese cars of its day, and its engine earned a reputation as an exceptionally durable design, which made it a legend of the tuning scene. A characteristic feature of the body is the tall rear wing and the flowing teardrop silhouette, thanks to which the car looks fast even standing still.
Nip the parts off with nippers and sand away the marks left by the gates. Glue with liquid cement for plastic drawn into the joint by capillary action. Wash the body in lukewarm soapy water before painting so that the paint holds. Then a primer, several thin coats of paint from an airbrush and clear gloss varnish; polishing with a cutting compound once it has cured moves the result up a class. Glue the glazing on at the very end and only with a glue intended for clear parts, as ordinary cement for plastic would fog the transparent surfaces.
